Charles Twichell’s Retirement
After nearly 26 years of dedicated service, Charles Twichell has retired from his role as Co‑Executive Director. Since joining the Prince Charitable Trusts, Charles has been instrumental in shaping our commitment to environment, youth, health, and the arts. His leadership was particularly pivotal in deepening our impact within the Chicago and Newport community, and his collaborative spirit has left a lasting mark on our organization’s culture.

Carolynn Brunette as Executive Director
Following this transition, the Trustees are pleased to announce that Carolynn Brunette will continue to lead the Trusts as Executive Director.
Carolynn has been a core member of the leadership team for a decade, most recently serving as Co-Executive Director. Because of her history with our partners and her involvement in all areas of our grantmaking, this transition represents a natural progression for the organization. Her decade of experience at the Trusts ensures continuity as we maintain our day-to-day work and our commitment to the communities we serve. She will continue to focus on the collaborative and community-led approaches that have been central to her work at the Trusts.
