Partnering with Us

At Prince Charitable Trusts, we know there are people and groups doing great work that we have not yet met. To help you decide if we are the right potential partner for your mission, please follow these steps:

  1. Review Our Funding Areas & Regional Priorities: We focus our limited funding on specific areas in Chicago, Washington, DC, and Newport where we can provide the most impactful support.

  2. Share Your Mission: If your work aligns with our focus areas, please share a brief overview through our Community Inquiry Form. This form is an easy way to connect with us and helps us stay informed about the evolving work in the communities we serve.

We respect your time and the energy you pour into your community. We review these submissions to discover new partners whose work aligns with our priorities. Thank you for your commitment.

Our New Application Portal

To streamline the process for our partners, Prince Charitable Trusts has transitioned to the Temelio platform for all submissions. Please note that guidelines and login credentials from our previous system are no longer active. To help you navigate this change, we have provided an Instructional Guide on how to access and use the new platform.

Chicago

Environmental Justice: Spring applications are due March 4. This cycle is currently invitation-based as we focus on deepening current strategic commitments.

Performing Arts: Fall applications are due August 25 by invitation only.

Arts & Environment: We are excited to announce a new participatory grantmaking program that integrates the arts and the environment. This program will feature an open-call application process to ensure broader community access. Full details and guidelines for this collaborative opportunity will be shared in Summer 2026.

Washington

Healthy Food Systems & Active Civic Space: Spring applications are due March 30. This cycle is currently invitation-based as we focus on honoring our existing strategic commitments.

Land Conservation, Smart Growth, & Just Democracy: Fall applications are due September 28 by invitation only.

Newport

All applications are now closed.
